I have to admit, autumn might be favourite season! Our beautiful Dorset and Hampshire countryside comes alive when the leaves start to change colour and the air becomes crisp. This time of year is perfect for a relaxed horse and rider photoshoot for you and your equine best friend with an equestrian portrait photographer. Here are a few reasons why:

2. There's something special about sunsets and sunrises during autumn. The colours are simply stunning, and there's nothing like watching the leaves change colour as the sun sets or rises and these times of day are much more convenient to fit around you and your horses schedule to enjoy the beautiful light for your photographs.
3. Autumn is a great time to capture those memories and special moments with your horse before the business of the Christmas holiday season sets in.

The photoshoots can either take place at home on your own yard or maybe there's a special location - perhaps a particular area you love hacking in, that would like to visit again to document in a photo shoot. You might have had professional photos taken of you and horse at an events or show and normally people feel slightly nervous about booking a private photographer, but please don't be! I know the best way to pose you and your horse to flatter you both.
